The green laser pointers used in the factory assembled Gator Eyes have great
visibility and allow you to work in sunny areas and bright light. The Gator Eyes laser
pointers are classied Class III laser with 532nm wavelength and feature the latest
in green laser technology. Green Gator Eyes laser are brighter than red laser, they
have a visible beam and a multi coated optical glass lens for a sharper dot at farther
distances. Tested in temperatures down to +5C/41F. Never point with laser at
humans, animals or vehicles, and note that restrictions on the use of laser pointers
should be considered by operators before using!
Digitech Professional is packed with power and
communicates with GPS, lasers, scanners, other
eld computers, printers and special accessories such
as basal area measurer, digital measuring tape,
keyboard and the unique Gator Eyes laser pointers
for measuring at a distance.
Measure the distance to the tree and register it in the software
run clinometer application on your caliper. Measure the angle
to the tree root/bottom of the tree, and press enter to register.
Continue to measure the angle to the top or other place
to measure height. Register this angle and the total height
is presented in the display and ready to be registered in the
caliper program. The Gator Eyes green laser pointers are
excellent for improved aiming, also enabling you to measure
heights on distant objects.
The Digitech®Professional Clinometer function can be used to
signal where on the stem to measure a diameter. Present the
height parameter, register the current distance to the tree,
measure the bottom angle and follow the stem upwards with
the Gator Eyes pointers. The caliper will give a beep signal when
the desired height is reached, and the Gator Eyes laser pointers
are used to measure the tree diameter at this predetermined
height. With a few clicks of a button, you are able to measure
and register diameters and heights of trees, without climbing,
carrying or balancing heavy equipment!
